Get LinPad.
Free, for iPads with an M1 chip or newer. LinPad is not on the App Store: you install it with your own Apple ID through a sideloading app. The install guide walks you through it, start to finish.

Or add the source.
Add LinPad to SideStore or AltStore once. They offer every new version from then on.
The buttons open the app on your iPad. Or copy the source address:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/fspecii/LinPad/main/release/source.jsonThen what?
- Install it with SideStore (recommended), AltStore or a computer.
- Open it. The Linux system unpacks once, then a short setup runs.
- Optional: turn on fast mode for native-speed Linux apps.
Before you download: LinPad is pre-release software made by one developer. It is free and open source (GPLv3), and its source is on GitHub. Never delete the app to update it: that deletes its Linux system and your files in it.
